Anthropic sells two plans for organizations, Team and Enterprise, and already publishes Team prices in euros. What Claude Team includes
Team is the self-serve plan for teams. Each seat gives access to all Claude models, including Opus, with a context window of up to one million tokens depending on the model, enough to work with documents of hundreds of pages in a single conversation. It includes Claude Code for coding and Cowork, the agent that carries out multi-step tasks across files and tools. It works inside Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook, and has enterprise search across the sources the organization connects.
Admins manage single sign-on, billing and which connectors each person can use, and decide whether each connector action is always allowed, needs approval or is blocked. Standard and premium seats can be combined: the premium seat, at €90 billed annually, makes sense for whoever codes or works with Claude all day.
What changes in Enterprise
Enterprise has a different pricing model: a $20 monthly seat plus consumption at API rates. It's fairer for workforces with very uneven usage, because light users cost little, but it makes cost less predictable: it depends on the model and the tasks. That's why it includes spend limits per user and per organization, which are worth configuring from day one.
On control, it adds what a mid-sized company's security team usually asks for: SCIM to sync provisioning with the directory, granular role-based permissions, audit logs, a compliance API, configurable data retention and network-level access control.
What it costs for a 100-person company
With standard seats billed annually: €18 × 100 × 12 = €21,600 a year, excluding VAT. Billed monthly, €25,248. If ten people need a premium seat, the annual total rises to €30,240. Above 150 people you have to move to Enterprise, whose cost depends on usage. To compare with ChatGPT, Copilot and Azimut, use the cost calculator or read what each option costs a company.
What to check first
Where data is stored
Anthropic states that claude.ai data is stored in the United States. The only inference-location option in the app is "US only", on Enterprise. European data residency exists through the Amazon and Google clouds, that is, via the API, not in the app. For many companies that isn't a problem, because Anthropic offers a data processing agreement and ISO 27001, ISO 42001 and SOC 2 Type II certifications, but if your company handles sensitive personal data, have your data protection lead validate it.
Usage limits
Team seats have five-hour session and weekly limits. For heavy users, for example with Claude Code, the standard seat can fall short; you can enable extra usage at API rates or move to premium. It's worth estimating who needs what before buying.
A single provider
Anthropic went from 12% to 40% of enterprise spend on models between 2023 and 2025, according to Menlo Ventures. That kind of shift can go both ways. If everything the workforce builds lives in Claude, the company depends on it staying the best for its tasks.
Other ways to give Claude to a workforce
Inside Microsoft 365 Copilot. Microsoft offers Anthropic models in Copilot, but in the EU they're off by default and fall outside Microsoft's EU Data Boundary.
Through the API, on Amazon Bedrock or Google Cloud Vertex AI. It allows European data residency, but requires building the application on top.
On a multi-model platform. Azimut gives access to Anthropic's models together with OpenAI's, Google's and Mistral's, under an enterprise contract, with no training on your data and the platform hosted on Google Cloud in Madrid. The agents the team creates belong to the company and don't depend on the model they were built with. It costs €29 per seat billed annually, more than Claude Team, because it includes several providers, the connection to company systems and spend control. The full comparison is in Claude or Azimut.
